Head Coach, JBU Men's Soccer

Ryan Williams

Ryan Williams was named JBU's eighth head men's soccer coach in 2025. A JBU Alum, Williams played professionally with New Mexico United of the USL Championship and won a USL League Title with Charolette Eagles in 2017, scoring the championship winning goal. He returned to JBU as assistant coach from 2021-23 before joining Sporting Arkansas as Associate Director of Coaching, where he developed the playing philosophy now used across the organization. He came back to lead the program he once played for.

A Siloam Springs native and former Golden Eagle goalkeeper, Hunter competed for JBU Men's Soccer from 2022–26 before returning to the sideline as a Graduate Assistant Coach. A recipient of the JBU Champion of Character Award, recognized for his commitment to serving his teammates and community. Hunter brings that same people-first mentality to his coaching. He has worked with players from ages 3 to 16 and holds a degree in Graphic Design from JBU, with a Master's in Design Innovation & Thinking currently underway.
